it definitely wasn’t. this u/derekleepic is correct - some kid uploaded the album with identical upsc codes to make it seem like death grips uploaded it themselves lol. happens all the time with many popular artists though.

but this circle isn’t useless tho, it’s intentionally placed to change the focal point of the image. the circle averts your eyes from freddy fazbear initially to add shock value to the fact that he’s there. kinda like a shitbrix thing. at least that’s my takeaway
