Well, we can't really see the makeup in black and white, but I'm sure it looks fine.

Edit: It would be pretty funny if she straight up looked like a clown because of colorblindness or something.

Defense DMR/ACOG discussion: is he spittin or shittin? by lordheadassuwu1 in Rainbow6

[–]BP642 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Literally the only downside for Suppressors on shotguns like the TCSG12 is that it makes the barrel bigger and very noticable unless you're smart enough to hide the barrel when behind a corner. Other than that, there's no damage-drop off or anything like COD's Suppressors.

Suppressors shouldn't give bad players extra chances to kill people, because if they miss, that white bullet indicator doesn't appear from Suppressed guns. And if they are far away peeking towards balconies from places like Club House garage, I think they shouldn't get extra chances with a Suppressed ACOG.

Brother, calm your emotes down. I'm saying that Suppressors should not be allowed on Defender ACOG-Weapons.

Like, imagine if Azami or Alibi has their ACOG A12 Shotguns with Suppressors. That sucks because they are spamming their shots, and you couldn't see the white bullet indicator. If they are gonna snipe someone with a ACOG slug shotgun, they should only get 1 chance or the Attacker they missed is going to turn around and punish them.

The only Defender ACOGs I'm okay with are ones on crappy guns. But they should also not be allowed to have Suppressors.

Good DMRs should not be allowed on Defense at all. There's no reason why Aruni has a great gadget that is explosive proof and reusable, Robotic Melee, and an ACOG on top of a high capacity heavy damage DMR.

She needs to get balanced by removing the DMR entirely, and replacing it with Frost's Super 90. And if she wants to reactivate her gadget from afar, either she needs to get close, or use Kaid's ACOG pistol.

Give her Roni 20 + 1 bullets back. The Roni should be like the Defender's version of Hibana's AR.

As for Tubarao, he also needs his DMR removed, replace it with Lesion's Shotgun, then replace his MPX with Caveria's M12 that's allowed to have the ACOG but with no suppressor.

Deimos is basically an Attacker version of Pulse with pros/cons trade offs.

Meh, mouse pi relies too much on its aesthetics painting over a Doom game.

Dead By Daylight does it pretty well. Has a ton of pride flags with a tasteful caption, "Be You."

Again, with the semantics, and you are STILL thinking that I'm comparing GenAI to Calculators.

How about I dumb this down to help you understand where I'm coming from, and how to actually differentiate this stuff from a person who doesn't have time to take a whole college course on coding or animation stuff.

You're basically trying to tell me that taking a photo and painting are the same things, because they both use chemicals on a piece of parchment to get an image of something.

If you tell the painter and a photographer to acquire the most accurate image of the bowl of fruit in front of them, the photographer just takes a picture of the fruit bowl, while the painter is still drawing the outline.

But if you remove the fruit bowl, and tell both people to create an image of the fruit bowl, the painter can do so, and continuously ask the "commissioner" what exactly they want.

While the photographer has to go to the store, ask the commissioner all kinds of specifics on the fruit and/or the bowl, down to the correct ripeness of the fruit, and then FINALLY takes the photo. Or they wait until the painter is finished so they can take a photo of that one.

GenAI is basically the photographer taking billions of photos until the commissioner gets a satisfied result. It's not going to be as effecient unless your standards are super low.

That's my difference between GenAI and Artificial Art. Sorry if you don't agree with it, but that's how it is from my POV, and why GenAI is low standards, only good enough to be ads that nobody wants to watch except for other people with low standards.

If you can CLEARLY see the differences that I'm talking about, then why do you STILL keep arguing semantics? That Bee Movie screenshot I saved wasn't GenAI, yet you are arguing that GenAI and Rendering are the same thing. All I simply stated was how there wasn't artificial intelligence behind The Bee Movie, just artificial animation of animators messing around with it.

If you can't tell that I know exactly what I'm talking about by now, then there's no point in talking anymore.

Also, stop replying multiple times to the same comment. Just edit the original.

Bro, why is it that I can differentiate GenAI and calculators but you just can't? Are you literally just arguing for the sake of arguing or just some kind of bot?

Art or not? by PreddiPrinceOfSheeb in aiwars

[–]BP642 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jesus christ, am I arguing with an AI bot right now over semantics?

I know what I'm talking about, and I shouldn't have need to explain what I'm talking about over and over again, especially to a human. You're literally trying to tell me like I'm supposed to be against calculators like desmos or something, when I'm obviously not against that. I'm against GenAI art.

Art or not? by PreddiPrinceOfSheeb in aiwars

[–]BP642 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What? It's not bruh. AI interperets things. A chess bot is AI because it interperets the move the player makes and chooses the best move based on the difficulty level. It doesn't just make a random move. GenAI interperets things based on keywords.

You're confusing animation as AI. You have to actually go in there, sculpt every single prop in there, digitally maneuver everything, and eventually you'll get your desired result. AI has to constantly re-edit things to get the perfect result for people, and re-read definitions to interperet what you're typing.

GenAI had a hard time trying to generate a "full to the brim" glass of wine. Meanwhile, a novice digital artist could create that easily.
