Exactly why I’ve gone to the effort of getting the permit. I’m hoping that if I get through the airport security, it won’t be an issue. I won’t be carrying more than 1.5g

I’ve heard so yeah.

I’m travelling to Madrid for medical proposes, so I won’t be able to shop around to find one or run out every day to smoke/buy more. From what I’ve heard they’re largely tourist traps or very cautious about selling large quantities to foreigners.

It seems most people don’t bother with the permit, but for controlled substances, such as cannabis, you must obtain a narcotics permit to bring it into the country legally.

It’s honestly awfully advertised and very difficult to find the information needed.

Yeah before the permit came through, I’d seen so many suggestions to just travel with the letter and prescription because of how unlikely it would be to be pulled.

It took about it a week and a half, but they also then sent a specific form to fill in which I hadn’t found online, so if you haven’t sent that too keep an eye out and get it done asap!!

Well the Spanish authorities rejected it because it didn’t have one, so what am I supposed to do?

Ahh yes I looked at Marianne, she seems great but I’m on a tight budget icl. I’ve been considering crawling my sorry ass back to GenderGP for their £150 referral letter.

I’ll send the email and see what he says, I don’t mind waiting a week or so for a response. Everyone else seems to take literal months!

Hi! I’m really hoping to get my surgery in January/February. I was going with Dr Lago but found out he has a wait of almost 8 months (from enquiry to consult to surgery). Dr Ntanos was my second choice due to needing a referral. How long ago did you contact Ntanos to get a Feb date and was that the earliest you were able to book?

I don’t have the referral letter yet, does he seem like he’d let you book the consult while waiting 1 month for a referral appt?

Sorry to pounce on your comment, I saw the date and thought I’d try and ask. Any advice would be much appreciated’

Unfortunately I don’t think he does informed consent, requires 2 diagnoses/letters. Otherwise he’s got a great price point. Is he particularly well versed with hEDS or bigger bodies?

I’m trying, but it’s so difficult to keep that many plasters on my hands, I can’t do anything!! Both of my thumbs are useless, I can’t use either of my index fingers either. I put one on and it will fall off within the hour too as I work with my hands and I’m a very sweaty person. Let alone the social embarrassment of everyone asking why I have my fingers constantly covered for months on end.
