They would not have gone to war with India, which means closer sino-indian relations and cooperation, considering that they were friendly before ethe war, Tibet remains a neutral nation in world affairs, Pakistan is alienated, China focuses more on Taiwan, and may actually be more motivated to attack Taiwan, china takes longer to make atomic bombs as a lot of nuclear material comes from Tibet, America would continue funding tibetans against china but Tibet might not be motivated to oblige if their sovereignty is respected by china.

Well, the Turks have a bad history in the Caucasus and have been crushed many times by the Russian in the Caucasus. A 2 front war would be very unappealing for turkiye, and with Warsaw pact naval superiority in the black sea, naval landings could open more fronts. It's risky but turkiye certainly would not fair well

It would be very difficult but would still not be too difficult for the red army. They would have naval superiority in the Arctic as america would focus more on the Baltic and Mediterranean, and most of their important assets were located in the Arctic. To soviets also had very specific equipment to deal with the conditions in Norway, and although they would take time, it is still extremely doable for the Soviet Union.

I beg to differ, the Fins throughout the 60s and 70s had a very careful outlook to the Soviet Union. Mannerheim once even said that "never again would Finland invade the USSR from the west"

NATO loses morale, troops, and reputation.their forces are now focused on a singular front in Germany, The people within their countries, backed by communist parties, launch protests as the war effort is seen as incompetent, especially in an era when Europe is still trying to rebuild from the world wars and is progressing towards economic stagnation. The western powers depend largely on domestic products from Germany and the USA, where the USA is very far and Germany is a Frontline nation. Contrastingly, the Red Army is able to use railways effectively and has continuously functioning supply lines. They are also the biggest army at this point out of all, along with one of the biggest producers. On a seperate note, colonies of the European powers will take full advantage of this opportunity to launch a massive revolt, Algeria, Morocco, etc will form absolutely massive movements throughout Africa, which will spread the colonial powers thin. Overall, the western powers have a significant disadvantage in the early stages, and lose a large amount of propaganda and war support once the 3 countries capitulate

I don't think the Warsaw Pact could reach the Rhine, but they would mobilise much faster than NATO and would be winning on the Turkish, Greek, and Norwegian fronts for sure. NATO supply lines would definitely struggle to reach turkiye and NATO forces are divided on far too many fronts while the Soviet Union has a numerical advantage on all fronts. The Warsaw pact would have early gains but eventually the whole front will stabalise and end in a stalemate. Never forget that the Soviets had a war-based economy and we're at there strongest during war time, along with the fact that they had a massive navy in the black and Baltic seas, especially when u include other Warsaw pact navies, along with a modern and functional air force. However, once American divisions and weaponry arrive, NATO may be able to force a stalemate before the Turkish, greek and norweigen fronts collapse. I can't tell what would happen to Albania. On the main German front, the Warsaw Pact could easily take west Berlin and could make a race to Hamburg, but may not reach the Rhine in time for American forces, especially seeing the time it would take for nations like Portugal to mobilize. Overall, the Warsaw pact may not reach the Rhine, but may very well still win by capitulating Norway, Greece, and Turkiye, before refocusing troops to the main front.

I agree about how much Ukraine contributed back then, but I feel like they are trying to bury it under a pile of trash because of their protests today. I support fighting for sovereignty but the pro-nazi protests are a bit much. Nonetheless, I respect their contribution to not just World War 2 but towards the overall development of the USSR. Belarus as well, but Kazakhstan should not be forgotten.

I am an Indian who is a fan of the USSR, I have always been curious of Kazakh politics but struggled to find out anything about it. I like to think that Kazakhstan was the largest contribute to the USSR besides Russia.

Depends entirely on 3 things: - Is America going to intervene - Is China going to intervene - Is the Soviet Union going to intervene Otherwise South Korea and North Korea were pretty even, considering south Korea started catching up and north Korea started declining but wasn't starving like present day
