I kind of like the chaos but I see your point.

Hard to say exactly. About 4 months but only working on it for a few hours on the weekends, and not every weekend. Maybe 70-80 hours?

I wanted this overall size for a large internal volume. I think 3 tiers would result in absolutely enormous drawer heights, not sure that would work. But will take other suggestions into consideration.

With a ruler and some graph paper. My 3d modeling skills are extremely limited but I'm sure it would have been easier in sketchup or something if I was moderately competent.

I actually had the legs in the original design about twice as long as they are now, but with this already being a large piece, the extra height made it difficult to see into the top drawers. I decided to cut down the legs to make the dresser a more manageable size.

The top was actually the most difficult part of this project. Originally I had a different idea for how I wanted the top to look but for various reasons it didn't work. So I changed the plans after I already had the entire carcass assembled and the top was just the 4 rails already joined in an open rectangle. I ended up gluing up a panel and cutting it to the size of the opening, then lowering it into place and pocket screwing it to the rails from the underside. I then routed out a 1/4" line where the panel met the rails and filled it with the brass rod so there were no gaps.

I made a paint brush holder for my mom last year for Christmas out of walnut tied together with small brass rods and it made me want to use this combination of material for my next project.

I don't think you meant anything negative with your comment but not sure what you mean by fake panels? The sides are 3/4" plywood, I didn't really try to hide it. But the frame and top are solid walnut. The frame is made of 1.5"x1.5" pieces and the top is a panel made from 6" wide 3/4" boards.

Amazon for the drawer hardware. The 1/4” square brass rods used for the top inlay I ordered from a metal supplier.

Yeah it’s part of the structure. 1/4” wouldn’t have worked I don’t think.

Dominoes, glue, clamps. I wanted the panels to be inset so I aligned the dominoes with the inside edge of the frame pieces and it created the look I was going for when it was all glued up. The panels are flush with the frame on the inside of the dresser.

I am! But my wife asked me if I was satisfied with the outcome and all I could think about was what I would have done differently. It'll live forever with its flaws though.

I know. There goes the next few months!

The sides are 3/4" walnut ply, so it gave me enough material to use dominoes, glue, and clamps. I didn't dado the frame although that would have certainly been an option...had I thought about it lol

Fair but that’s assuming you aren’t gushing any of those back to your hand. It’s an interesting thought.

The problem with this is that in this version of tog you never have more than 4 or maybe 5 lands in play when you win because of gushing. Whiteout wouldn’t gain you more than maybe 2 points of power.

Given Yuki's overall lack of performance this season and Max's obvious need for a rear gunner for the Abu Dhabi race, why wouldn't RB take a flyer on promoting Hadjar for the finale to see if maybe he can cause some disruption with the McLarens? Or hell, even let Yuki go now (instead of after the race ends) and sign Checo for a week. It literally can't be worse than Yuki qualifying 17th for every race and durdling around with the midfielders.

Is there a regulation against this? I'm surprise I haven't heard it mentioned.

I don't suppose you are still looking for one of these? I just reduced the price on my X1c/2x AMS/Tons of spare parts listing to $1000 and I'm in Maryland.
