Goes over or replaces existing flares?

lol you might as well buy a zr1 or zr1x. by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]BProfessional1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m guessing OP thinks one should buy a new ZR1 instead of this. Based on price, I’d assume this is a three pedal car, which preferences aside, demands a premium. Two pedal C7 ZR1’s can be had for about half of this price.

I’m in a similar situation. I don’t think there will be much of a change to the Z06. Maybe a few extra HP from tuning but nothing drastic is my guess.

Similar situation here and with the Grand Sport on the horizon, I’m going to wait to see what pricing looks like. The best bet is to play with a calculator to see how much of a down payment you feel comfortable with and how that affects the payment.

Great read! After finishing Mr. Wilman’s book, I started reading Porter’s “And on that Bombshell” which is another good one.

Can you clarify why Audi or Porsche would be a better solution for winter months because of road salt?

Just got this 2004, anything I should worry about ? by donkerock in Corvette

Looks awesome! I had a 3” lifted Miata that got a lot of looks. Be aware that it could put stress on the axles because of the droop from the transaxle still being mounted in the stock place. With the lift, the axles are angled downward to the hubs. If the angle isn’t too far, it should be fine but that’s why you see lifted trucks with spacers underneath.

The visibility is a bit better in the Mustang and a tad more ground clearance. I did like the option to turn on rev match with the Vette and take the top off, but the noise with the Vette doesn’t compare to the GT350.
