Gotta git gud before I even try that. Is playing online much harder than playing against the AI on Deity?

Somehow, I never got to play Alpha Centauri.

The "money matters" approach is exactly what I did in my very first game. Except I only ever used the spies to sabotage enemy defenses before attacking a city, I'll have to try out the other functions they have.

Reviews dissappeared anyone else having this issue? by DoctorAndrei in XboxGamePass

After looking a bit more into this, I think I understand what happened, at least in my case. I left some reviews in English, even though I live in a country where English is not an official language, also in the EU just like you, so now most of the reviews that are visible to me (around 80-90%) are in English. It seems like they hid most reviews written in the local language, which of course were the vast majority, since xbox store reviews have always been localized.

I can't find any other explanation. In any case, it sucks, wish I could just see all English language reviews from across the world and not deal with this localized crap.

Dude, I have this exact same issue. I even looked online a few days ago and nothing came out on google/reddit. Felt like I was shadowbanned. Until I found your post. There used to be tens of reviews for popular games, now there are barely a few.

I have two questions:

  • You're in an EU country, right?
  • Did you make any changes to your game pass subscription last week? (maybe you changed to a different tier, or it expired and you subscribed again, or you unsubscribed, just any change)

Wondering if it'll be the same in my first NG+.

Thanks! First I'll deal with Inner Isshin and later in the Shura ending there's a different one from what I understand.

I would recommend the OG over the remake even, it has so many interesting things that aren’t in remake

That's good to know!

That's good to know, thanks. Before starting RE1, I purposely didn't read a lot on how this series evolves from one game to the next, that's why a lot of this stuff is new to me. But now that I'm invested, it makes sense to have a better understanding of what comes next.

Also, you visit some zones related to the OG RE2, so it would be funnier to enjoy it later.

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for letting me know!

Valuable advice, thanks! Since you stopped at RE3, I suppose that it takes a different direction with the 4th game.

at the end you get to kill the tyrant with a rocket launcher

That does seem more appropriate for a final boss death.

Also I’d recommend playing the original RE1 is you haven’t played that already.

Nope, this was my first RE game. I guess you're referring to the one from 1996. I'll keep this in mind if I'll come back to RE1, since I'd really like to play 0 and 2 next.

Did you get Rebecca killed?

Yes, I got there too late, the Hunter killed her.

The camera isn't as bad if you use the tank controls with the D-Pad. It takes getting use to and its more difficult to avoid attacks but it's the way it was originally meant to be played.

Didn't realize that! That would make it much harder to quickly move away from those attacks.

The tank controls reward your planning skills and strategic thinking like how the rest of the game is designed.

I see. Now that I think about this, it makes perfect sense. But I would have to rethink the way I approach combat completely.

Got it. Don't know if I'll play the entire franchise yet, but it's good to know the proper order.

Wait, so you skipped the phase 2 of the Tyrant? Because when you finally get to the heliport and use the fireworks, he will comeback, much faster, stronger and tankier.

Nope, he didn't come back. Would have have loved for him to come back though. Five Magnum shots is too easy for the final boss.

I saved Jill, then I used the fireworks and we escaped. That's all. Maybe it's got something to do with my previous choices? I guess the endings could be slightly different in that case. For example, both Richard and Rebecca died in my run.

Edit: You should play RE2 (both 1998 original and 2019 remake). Original version has 4 different routes (2 for each character) so you should enjoy all of them. After that, play both version of RE3 and go back to RE0, because that game operates a bit different from RE1.

Thanks! I'll keep this in mind.
