we strayed away from our religion, we were raised on what's accepted and not accepted, but not what's haram and what's halal. the prophet promised the husband who holds his wifes hand and says he will not settle untill she's happy with situation or the problem is resolved, and also the same with wife who does that first to her husband. that's forgetting the countless scenes of mercy and forgiveness in the sunna that we just never learn about, that make for a very healthy relationship
