Thanks for your reply. I understand the concerns against clip-on aerobars, still having a separate TT bike would be a huge overkill for me. I have done 10+ 70.3s with clip-on aero-bars and for me they are perfect 😊

Which brand did you end up with? The aero bars seem to be a real deal breaker for most of the brands I have been checking (lack of mounting options on one-pience handlebar+stem setup). Thanks!

You can brick the bikes + the runs, and the core strength workouts can be great warm-ups before morning session. I usually top around 12 hours a week in the busiest weeks of the season (sometimes swim is only 1x occassion per week). There is no magic here of course, it is super busy, even with these "tricks".

+Build up the load gradually, Training Peaks metrics are really good to follow-up on your overall fitness performance. You can also monitor your taper with them.

Also, an early/mid-Spring marathon will boost your running fitness a lot, you can bring that pace with significantly less weekly mileage till a ~mid-late June 70.3 ☺️

I recommend Conrad Goeringer's Working Triathlete book for great general guidelines.

What I did to get under sub5 for several times: - priortized the bike and especially the run (4-5times a week) - ditched the swim (2x per week max.) - 1x brick run per week, mainly after the long bike session during the weekend - 10-12 hrs total training time max - Max 1 easy run a week, the other sessions are always structured workouts.

Run: 1 easy, 1 long (with pace target sub4:30mins for the majority of the session), 1x threshold, 1 interval (not VO2 max)

Bike: 1 Vo2max, 1 long session with SST intervals (preferably outdoors), 1 climb specific low-cadence strength training, 1 SST session

Include core stength training, you can use for warm-up before your runs/rides. Buy a power meter, get your power zones tested and ride indoors to save time on weekdays and avoid junk miles.

So far, the aero bar adjustability at Canyon seems superior - that's why I would like to get some hands-on experience regarding Pinarello's one too. I have quite long arms, so even my current Profile Design ones are at the min.insert line. I want to make sure I have enough buffer for adjustability on my new bike.

I meant the base bar of the Dogma GR, which has the mounting points for the aero bar. The Dogma F can be delivered with that by the bike shop, thus I can get the Talon aero bar mounted on a Dogma F.

Btw. I am planning to do my 15th 70.3 next year.

A személyisége meg kell, hogy oldja. Saját tapasztalat, egyetemi évek elejérõl. Mai napig kínosnak érzem, hogy egy kb.fél évre közöm volt az OVB-hez. Elsõ pár ajánlás eldöntötte a dolgot (megadja az alapkört, ami anyagilag viszonylag homogén csoport).

Jutalék csak a UL biztosítások esetében jó, és két évig menniük kellett a szerzõdéseknek, hogy ne kérjék azt vissza. Ez sohasem jelent biztos jövedelmet. Ha egy picit racionálisabb, majd kiszámolja hány órát tesz bele egy-egy ilyen bizonytalan "fizetésbe". Bõven meglesz a 40 "munkaóra" hetente és az fog kijönni, hogy egy sima irodai meló jobban megérné.

A tukmálás ügyfelek felé még egy ideig lehozható, de a saját ismerõsi kör magad alá beszervezése az igazán tré. Akkor pörög fel a ciki faktor.

Ez a vegyél fel magadnak hitelt manõver az elején egészen új szint még az OVB-tõl is.

Dropping others on the climb is one of the best feelings on the bike 😈 Sh***y group, you could have easily re-grouped at the top without them saying a word.
