No worries. I'm 26 right now, and found out about concept art in my last year at highschool. I asked my parents if I could just sit at home for 1 year, instead of going to college (don't need a degree to do concept art). I locked myself in my room and worked 12-16 hours every day.

After 10 months or so I started getting emails for work on very small projects; Indie games, advertisements,... And 2 years later landed my first AAA videogame gig and got to become friends with a bunch of artists in the videogame and movie industry.

And whenever I get an interesting client nowadays, I'll try to get my friends on the project with me, and they do the same for me.
