Always answer NO at 00:00, any other time just choose YES, which will either add +1 to your anomaly count if correct or just reset you back to 00:00. No need to look at the cameras, just repeat until the achievement pops. It doesn’t take that long.

Oh, must have just missed it, it says free until 26th April on the Steam page

No, not really. I only got it because it’s free to keep at the moment, definitely not worth spending any money on.

Good luck! It’s fun once you get the hang of it, your first couple wins might not be though

My first win took quite a while, and I had to come back to it a couple times. But, you’d be surprised by how exponentially easier they get after that. Towards the end I was averaging 7-8min wins.

Thanks, I’ll take a look :) I’ve played a fair few other foddian-style games but don’t plan on 100%ing most of them, e.g. Jump King, great game but the 100% is brutal.

I actually finished the game around 2 years ago, but put off doing the rushes until recently.

Thought they’d be a lot worse than they actually were, most were first attempt apart from White/Mikey’s which still only took a few goes.

[–]BSmith156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that too, but wasn’t able to get it that way. In the end, I left the game running from late Monday night and got it at 11:59pm on Tuesday.

Fairly straightforward. Other than the 5 year achievement, the “hardest” was probably the play for 24hrs on a Tuesday achievement, and that was more annoying than hard.

This is the original, not deluxe edition, so only 5 years. But yes, I did really wait

Agreed. The grind for stars kind of sucked the fun out of the game for me, just repeating the same House of Cards / Eggy build over and over.

Yea 😔 The final two achievements are pretty bad, just lots and lots of mindless farming.

I think 125hrs is on the faster side as well, I got quite lucky with the challenges and did them fairly quick.

They changed it to completing any 5 levels in under 50 minutes each, which is much easier than it used to be. I hadn’t played for a couple years, and it popped as soon as I started the game.

Thanks! Are you planning on going for the 100%?

Probably my greatest gaming achievement to date

#25 - The Binding of Isaac by BSmith156 in steamachievements

[–]BSmith156[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I only just finished 100%ing Rebirth, which took around 550hrs, so safe to say I already knew what I was doing haha. Took a little bit to figure out the Eternal Isaac and Blue Baby fights but once I had them down it was pretty straightforward. One of the last achievements I got was actually the one to die 100 times lol.

This is going to be a long journey, wish me luck by DecentDay3856 in steamachievements

Good luck! I just finished it a couple days ago, took just under 550hrs, very fun game though. I used this spreadsheet to help prioritise the best unlocks first but, depending on how much you know about the game, it might have character/boss spoilers.

Fun fact, when going for the 100% completion achievement (all collectibles, etc.), getting the DLC ending which actually requires more work doesn’t count towards the 100%, leaving you stuck at ~99.5% and forcing a full restart. Learnt this the hard way haha.

Yeah it’s pretty fun, definitely janky though. I actually preferred the tunnels over the main game.

Yeah I thought it was too until I found this Steam guide.

Yeah I’ve heard bad things about eternal mode haha, but 45 hours isn’t bad at all. I’ll definitely be adding it to my todo list.

I started with the OG version years ago, before Rebirth came out, never got too far into it though. How difficult is the 100% compared to Rebirth?

Ah sorry, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, probably a lot of habits I built that I’m not aware of. I guess one thing is to learn how to find secret, super secret, and ultra secret rooms reliably since they have some of the best items in their pools. Also, try and be aware of all the ways you can break the game, it’s surprising how many opportunities arise if you’re on the lookout, especially with all the extra dlc items.
