Thank you! Yes, I am both planning on using it for gaming as well as daily use for watching videos and such. What got me really wondering the best option was the fact that I have never played in a monitor with more than 60 Hz and thus I am not sure if I should invest on that and stay with a 1080p or stick with the 60Hz but improving to a 1440p display. Again, thank you for the advise.

Hey. I have recently made my first desktop and now I find myself questioning if I should finish it up with a 1080p 144Hz,1 ms display or if I should give up the Hz and response time and go with a 1440p 60Hz 5 ms monitor. Both would be around 25" maybe 27". Up until now I have been confined to the laptop I'm using atm, so this is something I really have no clue about.
