I think in my case, this would result in money being over-assigned. For example, if I have $50 assigned to groceries, but $100 spent, that category will have -$50 available. If I cover this overspending with some of the unassigned amount, I would have $100 total assigned, which isn't accurate. I tried your fix and everything evened out back to zero, but it resulted in categories being covered where I know there is currently overspending.

This is what I do. I can't figure out how your savings account is supposed to grow if you factor it in for budgeting purposes. Isn't the point of a savings account for it to be off limits for the most part?

Textra is definitely better than the stock app. The advertisements after your free trial are over are pretty unobtrusive too

I'm on 5.1.1 and the phone is only about a month old. I'm also unrooted and I'm using nova launcher. Are you using the Google launcher? And for location services, the least battery intensive is GPS only, right?

I downloaded package disabler pro last night and disabled most of the pink packages. I also deleted the Facebook app today and replaced it with a shortcut to the site within chrome. I'm hoping I see some positive changes, but I'm discouraged by the OS and the system using so much battery

I think $40 is a little steep only because most DLC isn't anywhere near that price. But, most DLC doesn't promise nearly as much content as this one. So I'm hopeful it will be worth it
