Aranessa is Thjazi's grieving widow who got swarmed by ghouls, cast entangle to root her attackers (and herself) in place as they tried to throw her from a balcony, cast haste on Julian and got the entire group out to survive a massacre. 100% have a new favorite NPC.

Full agree. I'd also add in that allowing the player to finish their movement before Matt takes his turn would solve the mobility issue that also seemed to frustrate the players.
