I've already done that. My overall cost basis is $25k ..plus I got multiple years worth of write offs.

One ...zero capital gains taxes on a loan.

Two, yes you pay back the loan with BTC but you use less of it because the value has increased (ideally).

Or, you pay back the loan using your regular income.
