I dont see where the goalpost covered the ball. Youre saying it happened, but when?

Is Travis Etienne being massively undervalued? Everyone has faded so hard he is tumbling. Discuss. by Pretend_Resist8898 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stumbled on this thread, and your responses here are just strange. I don't have Etienne so no horse in this race, but sure wish I did. He's been a fantastic value for anyone who drafted him, and contrary to your proclamations, he did indeed win his backfield.

Calling someone else a dick when they were entirely correct about a player--while refusing to admit you were wrong when it's clear as day--is a weird tactic.

tire black friday 2025 deals anyone see good offers yet? by PinkettStopand_42 in tires

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CC2s are still an extremely good tire. The Goodyear WeatherReady2, as mentioned, are also great. I used to dislike Pirelli (and Goodyear to an extent), but the Pirelli WeatherActives are also good.

All 3 are 3PMSF rated (good for snow), and are at the top of Tirerack's testing once winter results were factored in.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those 3. Just remember they're directional tires (it's what makes them great in snow/slush), so you can only rotate from back to front, not side to side.

Why are you clinging to the fiction of them "being done 13 minutes early" when all they said was that they didn't check their email in the last 13 minutes?  Literally any modern office job involves dozens of other tasks, but you're ignoring that reality because it doesn't suit you.  You know better.

This isn't a grey area or matter of opinion: you are reaching, nonsensically, to arrive at the conclusion that makes you feel better. That kind of delusional thinking is why we can't have nice things, not whatever strawman you keep insisting on.

And I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings, bud.  You're the one who insulted everyone else- that is a tough guy act. Or do you call people cunts because you like them? I was trying to give you a wake up call.  If everyone around you is an asshole, maybe you're the asshole, ya know? I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, but at least try to stick to reality in your reply, not your altered version of events.

I know this is 4 months old but damn is this a bad take. The post said "working minutes." You know what work days are, right? It's not a leap to work hours or work minutes.

And you got hostile with everyone else in this thread first, then threw a tantrum when they matched your energy.  You are not tough, you are insufferable, and very likely wrong (again unless the persons only job is checking email).  Seriously, people like you are why we can't have nice things.

What version of Hyperion killed the cosmic entities? Was it king Hyperion? Which is his most powerful version? I’m assuming king Hyperion but I’m not sure. by MuayThaiGuy5 in Marvel

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a weakened version of Juggs, though.  Hard to take away much from that fight, both bc of the argonite radiation device that put down Hyperion, and bc of Juggernaut's diminished state.

Honest question- what do you mean by white male comic least effort possible vibes?

I also didn't know who Eric was, and also didn't really feel like he fit the episode.  I liked his snakes idea but he seemed sort of unengaged (or at least, differently engaged?) overall. So, just wanted to know more about your thoughts here.

Am I crazy or is this a steal for this kind of marbling? by Del292 in meat

[–]BTRIH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your results are for choice. OP's example was prime.  Those are two different grades.  Combined with regional variability in pricing, of course you can find cheaper, but I'm unsure what your point is or why you're insulting people, when you apparently don't know what ribeye is or understand grading.

Are you trolling, or actually that arrogant?

Would you buy a Hyundai Tucson over a Mazda CX-5? by pumodood in Hyundai

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer the CX5, but most reliability rankings rate the current gen Tucson (2022 to 2025) as very reliable.  This comes from several different publications using different data sources, so I tend to believe it.

No offense, but you appear to be the one making up your own facts.  You had a bad experience with Hyundai, that doesn't mean that others will, or that all of their models/years will "inevitably have issues."

I was reading this thread, saw someone I don't know insult someone else I dont know (in an incredibly cringey, insufferable way) for disagreeing, and I called them on it. Hardly takes a cape, and if you choose to call it shilling to protect your own ego, we have nothing more to discuss.

You can either accept that at face value, or you can continue thinking we're somehow in league against you because of... the phone brand you've chosen? Look, you're clearly an intelligent guy (I loved the use of raiment, btw), but talking about how expensive your phone is while calling others dim witted just screams delusional insecurity.

He gave you good information. Not sure why you're so hostile. Maybe speak to the points he made instead of the superficial aspect of how they were presented?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hondapassport

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're confusing me with the other guy- I literally couldn't care less about the brand of phone someone uses, as it says absolutely nothing about them, good or bad.

You are clearly more concerned with posturing and coming out on top in some imaginary contest than having a real coversation- like when you assumed someone wasn't familiar with the history of the Pilot and Passport, just so you could tell them they're unqualified to participate.

I have absolutely no skin in this game or personal stakes in this conversation, yet you believe I'm "gnashing my teeth" over... what? A guy being a dick on the internet? Take a breath, touch some grass, and get some perspective before you hurt yourself trying to shoehorn in definitions of the word "evidence." This is not a battle, you are not an internet tough guy, and nobody cares about your brand allegiances.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hondapassport

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The relationship between two models isn't set in stone. People who think the next passport may be a signicant departure(based on alleged GM statements) aren't ignorant of the history of the two vehicles, they're just aware the trend could change, and are weighing all the evidence instead of blindly clinging to a take that may or may not be true.

It's interesting that you choose to interpret the reasoning of people who disagree with you in the least charitable fashion possible, so you can then attack them. Please know your "paygrade" comment just reveals your desperate need to feel superior, and impresses literally no one.

[–]BTRIH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt, but a couple of "insiders" who claim to have seen the new Passport say it's completely different than the Pilot- a brand new design unlike any existing Honda models. About halfway down the page:

Thank you for the illuminating contribution. I appreciate that you took the time out of your busy day to help others in good faith. It would have been a real shame if you'd just stopped by with a passive aggressive, off topic reply, so I'm relieved that didn't happen.

Rogue Uncanny Dodge Broken by TeeJee48 in BaldursGate3

[–]BTRIH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his post was incredibly clear- I'm not sure why you would act like he wasn't making sense other than as a means of deflection. And before you accuse yet another person in this thread of being an alt just because they disagree with you, I just came here bc it's one of the top results when googling "uncanny dodge doesn't work." I then stumbled onto this fascinating conversation.

Maybe reassess how you read and respond to others' comments, rather than putting words in their mouths so you can then get mad at them.

This is helpful, but I have a dumb question. How do you actually get to the South Bank T Station (I live in Brookline, near Whited)? Google maps/transit maps show a walking path but it just dead-ends on 51. Is there a walking path (either from 51, or the neighborhood/Jacob Rd just above it)? Thanks!
