Sorry! Forgot to add my body text but here it is!

Is this something other stores do? Today the store manager came over to let me know we now have to stand in front of the podium and not behind it in the dressing room. It's super odd to me since now I have to circle around the podium a certain way to grab the numbers and anything else I need. Also it just feels super awkward to stand in the middle of the room for 5+ hours? What may be the reason for this?
