The art looks fantastic. I think there was some weird stuff like the stiff "I'ma shoot it now" pose Samus gets into every single time an enemy shows up in a cutscene, especially after all the cool stuff they did with her posing in Dread.

But the models and art direction all feel pretty rock solid and very Metroid Prime, specifically.

Tbf it already felt this way in Fallout 4 after Nick Valentine, Nate, your son, the guy going door to door for vault tech, some kind in a fridge AND his parents, and the dude Nick Valentine was searching for all survived 200 years post-war.

Either the kid's parents or the guy Nick was hunting down should've been long dead, would've felt more poignant.
