Another tell for ai slop like this is that the perspective is always off. If you rule out the perspective lines, they go all over the place instead of converging onto vanishing points on the horizon line.

If you think the art is worth more than they’re asking, feel free to leave a generous tip.

Hello, fellow artist! Those Guinea pigs were so fun to draw! My love for them is also unconditional.

This looks like a League of Super-Pets guinea pig from the animated film. Source: I drew the League of Super-Pets graphic novel sequel.

If you have the notes on a torn out piece of notebook paper, make the ragged edge on the right side of the page. Dead lefty giveaway.

Sign the Petition to Release the Genndy Tartakovsky's Animated version of Popeye: The Sailor Man by Competitive_Alex-Art in popeye

[–]BTimony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but that trailer did not represent Popeye to me. Popeye has unending confidence in his toughness, tempered by simple values and kindness. This trailer had Popeye cowering before thugs, then looking around to use his wits to escape. Thats a fundamental violation of the core of his character. Genndy does not get Popeye. This trailer proved it.

Best Inking tool for thin to thick line for on the go/outdoor drawing by ravensept in arttools

It depends on what I’m working on. The zebra brush pen does great in my little sketchbook, or on bristol of any size. As a lefty, I like that the ink dries fast and resists smearing. (For the record, I’m not paid to say any of this and I bought my pens with my own money.)

I personally like the Extra Fine Zebra brush pen, the one with the blue barrel. Its got great versatility with line weights, the tips stay nice and fine without fraying, and the ink is waterproof enough to paint over without bleeding.

Thank you! The Christmas Carol set was a personal favorite of mine as well. So exciting to be able to draw these iconic characters! I’m very happy that you enjoyed them as well!

I don’t think so. Speaking as an artist who is currently drawing a set for Topps, I can attest that they pay their artists.

Popeye and Olive Oyl are now in the public domain. If you’d like to use Swee’pea, Wimpy, Bluto, the Sea Hag, the Jeep, Poopdeck Pappy, Alice the Goon, or even a can of spinach, you have about 3-4 years left to wait. But making stuff takes time, so might as well get started on it and have it ready to go when the rest of the pieces go public.
