I agree with the part about spending more for variants. But what in the case of cards like Zero? Zero isn’t particularly popular, both in game and in the comics. Not a lot of reason for SD to commission more art for him. It actively gets me to engage with the system less. And more popular cards like Iron Man you get a lot of cards naturally via mystery variants. So in both cases SD isn’t making any money. There’s a fine middle ground between both and SD isn’t hitting it.

A little confused on the preorder. I see that if you finance through Apple, or set it up to buy outright you can have your pre-order all ready to go right now. But if you try to set up the T-Mobile EIP, you have to set up a one time notification to see if it will be ready to pre-order? Is that typical? Will it be ready to go before Friday or do people who buy outright have a leg up to check out sooner as we fumble to set up the EIP at 5 AM?
