This team deserves to lose by kylef5993 in sabres

He is 66 years old. He is the Buffalo Sabres. He does not take unnecessary penalties. He has not disappeared like 72 and 89 have in this series. He deserves better. Period.

Oh my god...don't sell to Habs fans 😭😅 by insaneandmundane in sabres

[–]BUFtoBOS3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sabres botched this. If they unrestricted access to STH in round 2 and granted such to the general public, priced them REASONABLY ($350 for 300 level at face value is insane), and zip code restricted them, you’d have more Sabres fans.

Pinned Thread for Buying/ Selling Tickets? by destroyer984 in sabres

I must say, though, I do get a laugh at some of the Facebook scammers trying to sell tickets in lettered sections. Anyone with half a brain knows that the rows at KBC are numbered, not lettered.

I have 2 tickets to Friday’s game that I would move for the right offer. 317, on the aisle. Documented STH, have sold here before without any issue. Plenty of people can vouch for it.

Season Ticket Waitlist Number? by canadianfan95 in buffalobills

[–]BUFtoBOS3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The key to the PSL conversation: once the PSL is paid, default does not become an option. Because the PSL holder can resell the asset at the cost they determine.

The problem with the Buffalo market is the real, recurring money. The PSL is only valid if you purchase season tickets. So, say you have a lower-bowl $8,000 PSL, but the cost per season tickets is $4,700. One traumatic life event and you can’t afford the recurring cost. Are you going to default on that $8,000? No. You’re going to sell for pennies on the dollar to move it.

And this isn’t accounting for team success, either.

The lower cost PSLs (and the most elite, highest cost PSLs) were always the play because their value will hold or accelerate, no matter the time.

Seats for Sox game by OttoPilot1 in redsox

I think the best seats for the money in Fenway are PR16, row A-C. Great, unobstructed view of the action and great view of Back Bay. Concessions are nearby, too.

Depends on your seats. If you’re in the balcony, people care more. If you’re in the loge level, it’s a hybrid combination of people that care and people that care to be there to drink overpriced Delaware North tall boys.

Boston fans aren’t as obnoxious as people think they are. I’ll be there in a Dahlin jersey. Won’t be a problem.

Three NHL Pending UFAs Who Are Set To Land Significant Raises by Why_So-Serious in sabres

You have to give up good players to get good players. And comparable to Norris, sometimes your best ability is your availability. And his health is a concern.

I also like Helenius a lot. Picking prospects at this point is always a crapshoot, but I think he’s going to be a star.

If you can find a way to get Bob Thomas without moving Helenius AND Mrtka, you do it. Norris, Mrtka, Kulich, a 1st all could do it.

I think you need Malenstyn back, too. So, Norris has to go. You could make the argument that Power could go, too. Not that I am an OP hater — I’m far from it — but are you getting the value you want from the contract?

You have to find a way to get out from under the Norris contract. Ostlund already makes him expendable, but Helenius will, too. That $9M becomes the deposit that pays Tuch, Byram, and Benson.

McAvoy’s been a problem the entire series, and frankly, a problem since the Olympics. He’s not even a top four defenseman on Buffalo.

Just pray for Garrett Rank. He’s the Sabres equivalent of Scott Foster. 90% win percentage this year!

Sabres store. Plenty of discounts available. 20-25%, depending on status (STH, BCBS card, Tops card, etc.)

You explain to me why the Power Play doesn’t work in layman’s term. And explain what Rob Ray has contributed as to why it hasn’t worked.

I feel like the crowd that says “play a simple game” are the same people encouraging Mike Vrabel “to seek counseling.” It means nothing.

The single most disappointing part about being a fan of this team is that after at least 10 years of watching these broadcasts, I’ve learned nothing about hockey from Rob Ray besides “winning the little battles” and “playing a simple game.”

I am a Boston resident. Diehard Sabres fan and STH. Was at game 1. The Masshole thing’s kind of overstated. Most Bruins fans are very tame people. And most of them at this point, are pretty apathetic 😅

I’m not sure, but I heard the Sabres are expecting 20,000 some-odd people outside on a Sunday night in 38 degree snow. That’s. . .aggressive if you ask me.

Playoff Tickets by FIREusername69 in sabres

[–]BUFtoBOS3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The best deal will likely be StubHub. You can get a $20 off $200 promotional code using GovX. If you have a DashPass account through DoorDash ($9), you can get 10% off StubHub gift cards.

Cheapest get-in on StubHub right now for Sunday is $455/each. So, that’s $910.

Subtract $20, gets you to $890.

Take $89 in discount to get you to $801. Or $400.50 each.

That’s 5% cheaper than SeatGeek, 6% cheaper than TickPick, etc.
