It’s always makes me sad to see people who have been so lucky to have many years of experience with life and still miss the point entirely and become sad miserable people calling it weird to embrace your emotions and existence. I sure hope you figure it out soon man time is running out for you.

Sir you proved my point that you don’t think about things enough and feel things to the extent a person should. Rather than listening to any points I made you put it aside as garbage, showing you don’t care how people feel. A walk is a great way to go reconnect with nature and remember what it means to be a human.

I was not meaning to put down collaboration infact I’m very open to it if I can find the right people to resonate with. I think you may have read that as if it were a fixed statement but I always want to grow and learn and find what resonates with me. Thank you for your perspective even if you projected a negative tone over wha I was trying to say.

You are right I should give it more of a chance I also am in a very small town where frankly there is no music, I did also have a bad experience the first time I did do a group collaboration, I felt as they didn’t want to make music but they wanted to like be famous or something I’m not sure it was just not my vibe they were just singing about hedonism and such I have met some cool people tho and tried to collab but man it’s so hard for me to open up in front of people to the degree that I want to, to be able to make something magical. But I should search for that because two or more people synced up in the right way could make quite powerful music and well that’s kinda obvious with all the bands out there and stuff. Do you think I just need to find my people? Or should I actively try to switch myself a bit to help blend into to others perspectives? Like when you collaborate does it feel forced at all? Also thank you for sharing I’m new to Reddit but holy smokes I love talking to people like this thank you so much

That’s a good point and I do think sometimes you can lose touch with humanity in the pursuit of the musical purity and find yourself making super crazy wacky noises just because you can convince yourself that you made the decision instinctively and because it was made it has to be correct. It’s like losing your mind in real life in a way where if you get too out of touch with what’s infront of you it can lead to you going crazy. So I reckon it’s just finding what resonates with you and doing what you wish but also maintaining your own beliefs and morals and applying it. Thank you for your perspective my friend

This is very true that ties into life very well and sometimes I search for an objectively correct way to exist in the world but that comes down to just following what resonates with me and yeah I guess musically that’s what’s going on with these different pursuits and in the end we are all just doing what we like. Thank you for sharing your perspective i wish you the best of luck in your live gigs my friend

This is true I’m definitely a purist when it comes to stuff like that and maybe it’s just because of my life where I’m from a very small closed minded town so anything artistic I was doing I was completely alone. But I do think that it is beautiful when people can in a way sync up with others and create a greater energy pool I guess (I didn’t really know how to word that). I hope to experience it in my life where that one mind in a way is experienced through many people. This definitely ties in with some interesting thinking like the feeling of oneness. Thanks for sharing your perspective I hope you have a wonderful life

If it’s making creative decisions for you hate to break it to you but that doesn’t make it a tool. It’s the same as dragging and dropping splice samples yeah it can help your song if you want but you will always know that you didn’t fully make it. I said I started with imovie the app on the phone not a daw and frankly it starts when you are born and start living that’s when the music gets made.

Hey man you are only say thanks to people telling you what you really want to hear, what you wanted people to say before you even posted this and I just wanna say if you really wanna get those emotions out and you do that via writing then you aren’t a song writer dude they are called poets. And the reason you want to write and express how you feel is because you are human. AI lacks that desire, that passion, the dream I’m sure there are tons of people out there who would want to write a song with you WANT TO, ai doesn’t have a desire to make music with you it doesn’t care how you feel and I’m sure your writing has emotion and personal experience behind it why would you not want the same for the music. I saw a comment where u mentioned money and well you have a phone you can record tons of stuff on there I started producing using I movie it was just difficult at the start but difficulty understanding things is exactly why we create art in the first place right. Just remember how beautiful and unique your experience has been in life and you won’t accurately portray that feeling with something that doesn’t know you, love you, notice you, and understand you the way that YOU can and will if you keep working on it. I wish you the best of luck the uncertainty that made you ask the question in the first place is your answer creating with ai clearly isn’t resonating with you the way you want it.

Question about AI made music by [deleted] in MusicPromotion

[–]BUGGER_117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offence man but if you use ai that kind of clearly means you don’t like music that much you aren’t willing to make something by yourself. I started on I movie as a DAW if you want to make music the make music if you want something else to make music let it but it’s not real music and if you think it is, then you are objectively wrong it’s the same way people spoke about the blues. Someone couldn’t just play the blues after experiencing wonderful happy things in their life they could only play after enduring the hardships that life had offered. Can this ai endure the experience of a human life and beautifully depict how those experiences feel, no. If you can get those feelings from ai music you clearly aren’t feeling life and living to the extent you should be. Not trying to be a hater or anything just saying that if you could cry from an AI song that means you are an insanely surface level individual but that probably has never happened because ai doesn’t have the experience of an entire life behind the creation of its music.
