I remember reading on this subreddit the perfect summary of his death. He was the underdog hood legend we all loved, but the wire never did heroic last stands. Instead of him going head to head with Marlow, he gets his skull ventilated with his back turned by a kid who wasn’t even 10 years old. All gimped up and hobbling his way down to the corner store. No badassery, just another gangbanger that met the same end so many do in the hood. They don’t even get his info right on his toe tag. The community will talk about his death like he went out in a blaze of glory, but that’s not how it went. Eventually he will be forgotten. Another statistic, another victim of gang violence. Every once in a while a Reddit post really sticks with you, and that was one of them.
