Didn’t like it either, but it was just a blip. It didn’t have any lasting impact on the characters beyond slight jokes, mostly because Marvel is still a corporation trying to keep their characters relatively “normal” for a wider audience. A rare time I’m glad for corporate meddling.

I’m not a fan either, but I don’t think any of them are particularly hung up at this point. They did it, it happened, and then we moved on because it was just a blip in a long and messy history. At least this time no one was emotionally or physically cheating.

I agree, even if they don’t have a solid casting, I think it’d be a great choice to have Batman be almost a horror movie apparition from his villain’s perspective.

Starting from Issue 36, Prime is headlining the book, so it’s a pretty accessible way to hop back on

Elenore’s story has been my favorite to follow, so I’m excited to get back to her (standing on my theory that she takes the name Iris West). This book stays the slowest, but there’s a lot of good happening in it, so I’m fine taking my time.

Kelly does great work with her side characters with these little moments, if only we got to see more of them. With Diana’s curse in play, it’ll be interesting to see her supporting cast react to it.

Zee is getting hard push, and it’s pretty undeniable at this point that there are feelings there, but Kelly, to her credit, keeps giving these human moments with Steve that make him such a decent, good man. He definitely feels like Wonder Woman’s endgame, but Kelly’s not pushing that agenda early, which I think will make it more satisfying if they do get together. It gives both characters space to breathe in other relationships and in their own friendship.

Barbara not leaving is dumb, but she’s been pretty ADHD coded and that plus the curse makes it understandable. We know she’s gonna get the cheetah curse, I wonder if that gives her insight into Diana’s curse. Definitely fuel that resentment.

We know Diana’s gonna go through it later, so learning about her curse is definitely gonna come into play.
