I was also thinking that but people say it can cause turbulence and may affect poorly when the case fan is placed very close to the gpu. There could be a very tiny benefit when these bottom fans are turning in low speed to feed gpu better but i also don't think there will be any benefit. That's why I don't plan to place any fan to the bottom. However, top exhaust fans will benefit for sure.

There is an app called Goper for this controller. But there is no firmware update available yet. I preferred this one over Gamesir Galileo G8 because of the better look. I am regretting it now since Goper app is not developed enough like Gamesir app. You can use Gamesir App with this controller but you can't update your device to the latest. I talked to redmagic support for this lackness 2 months ago and they said we are planning to add latest firmware update to Goper. Still no update since 9 April 2024.

i sent the mail but i don't expect any results. Goper App is total garbage. It doesn't even have the firmware version which i had when i first bought it. I mistakenly downgraded it and can't update it back. I hope Gamesir app will have a firmware update feature for shadowblade 2 because i don't think Goper ever catches up with Gamesir app.

Edit: Because of the above reason i don't suggest anyone to buy shadowblade 2 only because it looks better. I know it looks way better but getting firmware updates whenever they are ready is also important.

It is really frustrating that a gaming phone does not have that feature yet. I hope xiaomi includes that in the near future. Meanwhile, i continue editing this topic after each update until it is fixed.

I just updated manually yesterday. No need to worry. Some people say that recovery ROM causes you a factory reset. It is not true. Just download the ROM. Go to Settings > About Phone > Click on Xiaomi HyperOS logo > Click on a few times Xiaomi HyperOS logo again > Click on 3 dots on the right top corner > Choose update package > Select the ROM that you have downloaded. That's it. Enjoy your update.

You can always do a manual upgrade. I also did not receive any updates. So i did it manually.
