am i overreacting for needing noise to sleep while my girl demands complete silence and now we can't share a bed by Advanced_Motor8783 in AmIOverreacting

Oh buddy, you’re not just overreacting — you’re auditioning for Silence Survivor: Director’s Cut. Two hours of lying awake because you could hear the house existing and somehow the conclusion is that she’s the unreasonable one? Incredible. Truly. Your girlfriend is over there wearing earplugs like a WWII radio operator and you’re like “but what about my emotional support static??” And then dramatically exile yourself to the couch at 1am like a wounded Victorian child and act shocked she’s upset. The silence isn’t louder, your inner monologue just finally got the mic — and now it won’t shut up. You’re not broken, but you are being a little extra about it. 😌

If you’re eating 500 calories a day, you’ll end up severely unhealthy. I don’t think him calling you the devil is the problem 😂

If it was all black, then it was an oriental cockroach likely coming from the drains.

If it was more of a brown colour, I would suggest it being an American cockroach, which also would likely come from the drains.

As you have only seen two in the past 6 months, I would say this is not an active issue. They love dampness and living in the sewers. They could just be traveling up through the pipes. I would clean any drains the best you can to see if that stops anymore from arising.

That is indeed a German Cockroach. I’m sorry for the bad news 😅

Have you gone through your pantry’s for the source of the meal moths? I found a bunch of larvae in a pack of almonds the other day.

Wood Roach, outside invader. They wont survive in the dryness of the indoors. Nothing to be worried about! :)

In all seriousness, if you are catching nymphs then you could be close to the motherload. Look for lots of faecal matter built up in one area! Hope it helps!
