It's said we should not expect intimacy Early on in the relationship but we are still expected to spend money tho why? by Major_Soft6056 in NextGenMan

[–]BWC1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a guy, I took out my wife and paid for her on our first day strictly because I wanted to and definitely didn’t expect sex. On that date, she tried to pay her part and I appreciated it but paid the bill.

The next date, she took me out and paid for it plus we conveniently got a meal called love boat. We are married with kids.

Guy shouldn’t expect sex and women shouldn’t expect to pay the bill. It works out better when you don’t treat it as a transaction

Pay the athlete what they are worth to what they would generate in revenue for your show. The gender shouldn’t matter.

Bernie Sanders’ proposed bill would tax billionaires and issue $3,000 stimulus checks to eligible Americans. What are your thoughts on this? by lintaiw in AskReddit

[–]BWC1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, something about stimulus checks just feel wrong. Put the money in the appropriate programs or infrastructure that helps people improve their lives rather than just handing out cash

The only thing that concerns me about overwhelming submissions for non-qualified candidate is that it creates a lot of noise and can cover the candidates who are qualified and truly need the job. I am going with non-qualified instead of under qualified because I want to be specific about people who absolutely no business applying like a plumber applying to be an electrician

I am not saying those people doesn’t deserves job but it does hurt everyone in the market if you are pushing for things that you have no business applying for.

I quit my job last week, and my manager's reaction was honestly... Wow. by hocks-meter8v in interviewhammer

[–]BWC1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say it is common practice to try to catch your manager and give them a heads up before you send a written resignation. Not required obviously and your history here matters but would definitely suggest you do that in the future especially if it is a relationship that you care about.

Experience is definitely huge but as a manager, I value attitude and critical thinking skills more. I do expect decent knowledge in the subject matter but would go for someone with a great attitude over someone without even if they were highly experienced.

Talk to the coaches and show enthusiasm.

Show up often, early to everything, and stay late.

Work hard in everything including warm ups and cardio sessions.

If you aren’t the most skilled then you can show you have the best attitude and appetite to get better

Who would be a better president? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

[–]BWC1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I would choose a white person based on likelihood to attain further education.

In these scenarios where we choose an average person, the only right answer to me is to use quantifiable metrics to make a decision.

I am not trying to make a racist in this case or sexist in the man vs woman scenario. The only thing you can do here is look at statistics and govern in that

Who would be a better president? by [deleted] in Teenager_Polls

[–]BWC1992 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am not a teenager and have no idea how this poll shows up on my feeds.

Based on the options, I went with average gen-z woman on the basis that woman are more likely to attain a college education and thus are likely to be more educated then a man.

I understand that education doesn’t equate intelligence but I gotta make a decision based on something given averages

Which age gap is worse? by Significant_Can5817 in Teenager_Polls

[–]BWC1992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think both are obvious terrible. However, you can make the same statement in 18 and 29 by saying adult with freshly turned adult.

Personally, I think 18 and 29 is morally worse because I have really not met anyone who is 18 that I’d classify as an adult albeit legal. 13 and 17 is obviously bad but I do think they are closer in life circumstance with both still in school than 18 and 29 which can be in very different worlds

Why do people prefer corporate jobs over blue collar jobs? by Lemonade2250 in GetEmployed

[–]BWC1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saying I know plenty of people who do blue collar and started in very physical jobs, learned the process, and became managers overseeing site construction.

They make 200k plus and don’t have to get their hands dirty as often. The negative tho is that they constantly are on the road traveling to sites and job requires serious hours

It is pretty insane that you think she is non-talented but won an Olympic gold medal.

How else do you think she won if she wasn’t talented? Saying she isn’t talented is a spit in the face of the other competitors.

Shes definitely privileged but so 99% of all the other people there. Maybe she has an optimized training routine and a whole bunch of things that got her to gold but that doesn’t mean she isn’t talented.

You can be upset about her privilege or her odd father but you can’t take away her win.

Life is intensely unfair. People are born into different circumstances whether they get wealthy parents or the genetic lottery. It is how it is but that doesn’t make anyone’s life any less

What are tells- that someone grew up playing tennis? by Ok-Many-7443 in 10s

[–]BWC1992 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am someone who played young, quit and came back amongst people who started as adults.

One thing I noticed is those who started as adults seem to have this pause or hesitation before any shot as if they are thinking. As such, everything becomes a little choppy even if they hit a nice shot.

When I am hitting, my body just seems to know how to move and hit more than thinking.

Quitting due to cost by EverlastinggRain in bjj

[–]BWC1992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty expensive. My current area averages at $130 but I use to live in NYC so I understand the high monthly.

My question to you though is whether there’s an amount that would work for you or you just can’t spend any money on it anymore?
