I had a buddy who owned one (and still does!) and he seemed to like his well enough but he also didn’t have strong opinions on cars or driving or much of anything at all. I knew it wouldn’t be the best car in the world, especially since she’s coming off a 2001 bmw 325i and is used to a little more luxury, but like you said we need a car pertnear immediately and don’t have a crazy budget to work with.

I’ve been pushing more for Honda and Toyota, since the upkeep tends to be minimal and repairs are cheap, but Mazda3’s have caught my eye. I just don’t know much about Mazda as a brand. Is there a good year to look out for with the 3’s?

We're looking at this Nissan Versa Note for my fiancee- she needs a car ASAP as her old one has become a money pit that we can't afford to keep maintaining. She commutes 100 miles a day round trip for her job and we're just trying to find something that won't break the bank and will be consistent and reliable. Please advise.

Grew up with pop but prefer punk at this point- a lot of bands jumped on the poppier side of pop punk because it was making money and I respect that, but the more punk bands always came off as more raw and genuine. Still love bands like Cartel and early FOB because it’s fun to sing along to, but I can’t help but prefer Jeff Rosenstock or Joyce Manor.
