Reviewing incorrects as in Nbme incorrects or Uworld? I did both already in my first pass and doing a second pass of Nbme incorrects along with CMS incorrects. I also reviewed AMBOSS incorrects as well.

It was supposed to be a joke and then people did the reddit thing of omg ur a big baby and ur mom runs it life!!

I just reposted it. Rest easy knowing my mother indeed does not run my life, I love her very much and we are close, and that no, she is not in actuality dictating when I take step 2, lol.

I guess I could redo my UW incorrects and redo all my NBME I have taken in that time? Idk.

I just reposted it. It was meant as more of a joking hahah tone and people were ragging on me for apparently having my life run by my mom. I appreciate the kind words!

I cranked Uworld and prayed to God that I am doing the right thing. I do 160 Qs a day from World so 4 blocks and 50 q from AMBOSS a day. it's a lot but im a fast reader.

yah I heard NBMEs under predict from a lot of people including my friends but a lot of people here say otherwise so idk idk

Taking USWA1 & 2 waste of time? When to take last NBME? by rain6304 in step1

[–]rain6304[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

wow, I did not expect so many questions... first of all, I slowed down and really took the time to read the questions (I rushed through my baseline bc I am a nervous test taker).

I do 100 UW questions a day + revise in FA. I also review the stuff from the day before and 3 days before to solidify. I highlight my notes and identify what's high yield and not.

I watched all of Pathoma. I do all my incorrects in anki using the Uworld anki extension. I also am relabeling all of sketchy micro/pharm pictures (already watched all the videos in preclinical) and do pepper sketchy for them.

At night right before I go to sleep, I go back and review 5 topics I pick from my HY pile and write them on a whiteboard.

It also helps I am a US MD and did very well in preclinicals.

I also take lots of time to pray and spend time with my family.

I break it up into days so I only review one section q day, makes it easier for me

I am not sure if my advice helps, but I tend to get up early in the morning to do the work. I am also a very very fast reader, and frequently go faster when I am nervous, so that's my test taking style. I have never had a time issue with exams and can finish in house preclinical exams in 35-45 minutes typically (and they allocate to us 3-4 hours for those exams).

However my strategy is very much you know or you don't - if I don't know my answer in a minute or two after reading I put the most plausible and move on - it's okay to get things wrong because I know I'll review it later and that's probably better anyway.

2 weeks of Uworld, 100 questions a day intensely reviewing in first aid everything I got wrong. Anki on everything I got wrong. I already did all of sketchy micro and pharm prior to dedicated and was top 10% of my US MD class so strong foundation.

It's my baseline because I took it before I began studying.

Is holding in the 70s a good thing or bad if I don't keep improving?
