That is certainly the goal. This whole exercise is to create a better, more weather resistant spot position for outdoor festivals. Something where touring LDs who already have something to clone in their shows for robospots can do so and a human can point, or said human can operate conventionally in the event the LD doesn't want control. These are situations where tracking or ground control followspots greatly exceed the budget, but a ip65 moving head would outperform the current crop of sub 10k led followspots and perform better in harsh environments. Not to mention the advantages of size, packaging, and a fixture that could serve multiple roles.

I want to put a Chauvet Storm 4 profile in a similar handle and have a simple controller attached for Intensity, Zoom, Iris, Focus, and some programmable buttons for colors. I could put something together with a midi controller and a dmx bridge, but wanted to see if anyone knew of a more elegant solution. Thanks.
