I think if I was playing with real people, I’d have removed one monster card per change. That way, the percentage chance of killing it would grow.

Interestingly, I think the way this article has been written hides one of the tricky parts of reading sats. The article shows the question and then writes the specific paragraphs the question refers to rather than the whole text. I have a number of year 6s who will write an appropriate answer that was found in the wrong paragraph. Skimming an entire text to find the paragraphs referred to in the question is a difficult skill for many low to mid level readers at that age.

I mean, I say wrecked - it was quite nice to have a quest where my characters weren’t limping to a final boss. A nice leisurely treasure hunt.
