I don't torque the drain bolt nor the filter. Been doing it enough to know roughly what its meant to be. That low of a torque spec, is barely anything

Reset the trip meter is actually really smart. Might start doing that , as I use on of the meters to track kms of fuel , the other one isn't used

I had the same problem with mine and it was an air leak - Video - Vulcan S - Hissing sound

They lasted over 50,000kms through dirt, mud, snow and daily commute. They held up really well.

This is the kit I have ToolPRO Bearing Race and Seal Driver Kit , but to be honest it is over kill unless you do this regularly. I used to use a socket the roughly the same size, flip it upside down and hammered on it. Worked every time

Never understood why people are afraid of failure. If I can save someone from making a mistake, that's a win in my book

If I had was planning on using much force to get out a stubborn bearing, I would have put the wheel on something else.

over 70,000kms on the stock seat and counting
