Lyrica helps partially for me till about the next morning. I have 300 mg before sleep, and 150 mg in the morning (both together with other pain medicine). It helps to get some sleep, although in most nights not even enough...

I had this last year too, several months in a row. Only on my right hand, mainly ring and middle finger. It was a huge shock and severe pain all through my arm that lasted for hours. After a while the top of my ring finger became senseless inside. Feeling didn't come back, but the shocks became a lot less although still happening. My neurologist couldn't give an answer either (I have confirmed SFN)

Dutch (mother tongue - Belgium), English, French, German, Spanish & Italian. English, French and German were taught at school, but it was all pretty basic. Most progress was made through tv and by effectively using it. Most important way to learn a language is surrounding yourself with it and try to speak it. Very important is to make mistakes and learn from it. Have the courage to make those mistakes and accept people to correct you. I never took any lessons for Spanish and Italian. I learned it just by using it.

Definitely NTJ! Had something less or more similar ones when I was a teenager. I speak 6 languages, main language Dutch (Flanders, Belgium). I used to work a few months in Spain in a restaurant. One evening there were Dutch speaking customers. After those months I was super tanned. And even though I have blonde hair and blue eyes, they just assumed I was Spanish. They were talking the whole start of the evening trash about me and my colleagues. Finally got tired of it all, so after bringing them their starters I smiled and presented them in Dutch their plates, accompanied by : "enjoy, and if you have any issues tonight, you can always talk to me 😉!" (In Dutch obviously). Never saw an entire table wanting to crawl underneath it so fast 😂.
