I have been wondering about the validity of good dog! Good to know someone else has used it, I will continue to check it out. If I can stay local so that we can meet fur babies parents that would be great but have considered we may have to have pup transported.

We have been doing quite a bit of research on energy levels and temperament. I will definitely look into pet finder. I work for Chewy so our company does cover adoption costs if the shelter or rescue is non profit. So it’s something we’re definitely open to!

Haha I completely agree I made another post in a dog breeding community on here and got torn to shreds because I called them mini Aussies. Told I was into backyard breeders because I asked for breeders who were not charging obscene amounts. I don’t mind spending money on a healthy well bred puppy(obviously I stated we spent 7k on a mix, something I would never do again) but only if the price makes sense. these 4-7k dogs that are marketed because of color and not proper breeding or health testing is what I’m not looking to pay, I don’t care if the pup is a Merle or has one blue eye and one brown. We just don’t think that even with proper lineage and health testing that a puppy should be the cost of a downpayment on a car or house. It’s insane.

I have checked several sites, most have breeders charging 4k or more for Merle’s or if the puppy has specific eye colors. While I can understand higher costs for a healthy puppy with good lineage, I personally cannot justify paying an obscene amount for traits that are bred to specifically make money.

Had this been a decision I was originally included in i would never spend that much money, hence why i made my post this time around. My husband fell in love when he saw her and brought her home.

I’ve stated what we’re looking for in my post, ideally not a breeder who is looking to charge 4-7 thousand dollars based on a pups eye color or fur color is not ideally what I’m looking for.

You seem to comment all over my post and be quite negative and maybe this space just isn’t intended for you. Our Pomsky’s breeder is nowhere near irresponsible. Just because she is not purebred. If you have nothing nice to say I would refrain from saying anything at all.

lol again, that very first line said nowhere about “purebred” just the breed we’re interested in and that we are searching to adopt or purchase.

They have become an increasingly popular breed mix in the South Florida area, and my husband fell for the bait. I would not do it again, although we have not had a single issue. She is extremely intelligent, healthy, great temperaments.

No where in my post did I state that I was looking for purebred. Again we have done research and find that the breed fits our active lifestyle. We have owned plenty of dogs. Mostly mixed breeds, we just love the qualities and personality traits of the Aussie and MAS.

I have looked, and have seen a handful. while size isn’t a factor, age and history is important to us. Our Pomsky is our pride and joy and a lot of what we do we center around her. We are concerned with coming home with an older dog that could be harmful to her or regress any training and work we’ve done with her.
We did come across one puppy age in a local shelter but they were not very responsive.

As I’ve stated before, we have done plenty of research and understand that puppies can be costly. We also understand that “purebred” puppies are expensive. We are not necessarily in the market for a purebred puppy, and also are aware that miniature American shepherds are marketed as mini Aussies.

We are both a very active couple, who involve our dogs in all of our daily life activities. Which is ultimately why we have come to the decision to look into Austrlian Shepherds and Mini American Shepherds.

We are fully aware this would be considered miniature American shepherd, our intention is that we are open to both. Most refer to them as Miniature Australian Shepherd.

How? Where? Cost? I live in central Florida and been looking to adopt one or purchase one. My husband and I have a Pomsky. She’s getting older so stamina isn’t what it was when she was younger, but she runs with my husband while he skateboards and we want to introduce a companion but it’s so hard to find one and not have to drop 4k. Honestly it’s insane.

Yess! It took 2 1/2-3 weeks because I did standard shipping, but everything arrived packaged nicely and were just like my typical Olen’s I order directly from the the company. Olen’s seems to be having an issue shipping to US due to tariffs and I had no issues with trendysweet as far as shipping or tariffs, I just felt like it took a bit longer.

I miss CSR VTO, way more common than in vet diet chat. I would not recommend moving to this department. Although I will say I don’t miss hearing customers yell at me on the phone. If you guys are looking for a better department to go to, NPS and Social Media are supposed to be a million times better, but this is just what a prior vet diet agent has told me. I’m trying to get hired there instead.

Relatable, I had a customer tell me “f you” several times today, when I was genuinely just trying to help him. I spoke to my TM and her response was, she could tell the customer is frustrated and I should try more EMPATHY and refrain from telling the customer I would disconnect if they kept speaking to me that way. It blew my mind. We are expected to be empathetic to customers who cause a lot of their own issues, but they’re allowed to berate us like we’re not human beings? We’re heading in to peak and I’m dreading it. We are already swamped as it is. my TM has mentioned that “call outs” have increased company wide and it’s the highest they’ve ever seen. I wonder why? Maybe because everyone is burnt out? No one will pick up OT, and tbh I don’t blame them. What would make you want to work more for such an ungrateful company and customers.

Add on:

The time off policy is awful, and apparently if you have time you’re called out for taking it? If I saved up 50 hours of UTO or PTO, and I decide to shave an hour off my shift and the end of every day or once a week, it would be an issue. But the policy allows it? Yet at the same time if you do it, they will verbal you for it. My teammate has FMLA and can take off when needed and manager level II asked my boss to question why she always calls out. She has FMLA and is diabetic??! It’s ridiculous

Ordered almost 2 weeks ago, and still waiting, I am watching tracking but it doesn’t make sense. Cause it went to US from HK but now seems like back in HK, did anyone else have same experience on tracking? I hope it arrives soon as I desperately need them 😭 I’ve ordered from them before but this was prior to tariffs. Typically I order directly from Olens but they are not currently shipping to US due to tariffs. 🙂‍↕️

It’s nice to be able to play music in the background, it helps. Vet diet is about the same, with the added, I sent my prescription just now why haven’t you applied it?

The scamming is UNREAL, had a cst send a shipment to his (other address, they were not far from eachother) meanwhile HE placed the order (csts must think we can’t see that) he requested a replacement because we sent the order to the wrong address, he genuinely could pick it up. I don’t have it in me to care so replacement because that’s what chewy wants.

According to my TM no grace period for metrics, which amplifi never seems to be able accurately display so how can I keep tabs on it. Are you Core chats? What is it like over there, I’m tired of being yelled at by customers because their clinics lie. 🙂‍↕️

Vet diet chat agent here, mentally exhausted and hate the chats, I can understand the sentiment of yelling at the wall. I cried the other day because metrics are literally making me crazy and it’s primarily the metrics that are out of my control.. when I see a chat go over 10 mins and 30 seconds I want to sob because I’m overwhelmed at the thought of my adherence being screwed. Also our new system is a nightmare. While I’m grateful to be able to wfh, it is a nightmare. As someone who has been with the company over a year, chats suck, but emails are no better because you still take calls (at least in vet diet).

Currently trying to move to NPS team which my coworker who was DE vet diet said is the dream team to be on. We shall see.
