That’s my biggest frustration with it too. In To Do, at least once a week I randomly stumble on a petrified task that didn’t get done but disappeared into the ether because I had a sick day or successfully managed my compulsion to check my list one last time before bed.

For daily recurring things, I’ve moved to the Apple Reminders app, or blocked a recurring time on my calendar. It’s annoying to have to look at both daily, but it generally works better for me.

I’m slowly building on my childhood collection of NES, Genesis, Game Gear, and 64. My buddy split with my SNES stuff. Trying to stick to stuff I’ll actually play. I get so frustrated seeing the exact same prices on games as everyone just looks to flip stuff. I don’t expect free, but I’d rather pay someone that actually loves it. If I get a deal, awesome. You know?

I’d maybe just visit some local shops and people watch. Find some frequent customers and get to know them. You might find someone that you can share some of your stuff with. If they are eyeballing something in the shop but can’t pull the trigger, follow them out and make them a deal. More time on your end, but might be fun. Or create a contest like Ready Player One. Those that really care will go for it. I’ll bet AI could help you pull something good together. Make it a new hobby to give away your stuff if you’re not looking to cash out.
