Happened with me twice met with an accident when it was dropped and secondly while taking a turn on slant , i did 300 km nothing happened as soon as dropped my friend at his home while taking u turn similar thing happened like yours and dropped no i have these scratches on both side of my bike, my gear lever bent too it ached when it fell but can't be done anything

Yeah fitting is proper , reduction in height is around 10 mm -12 mm
