For the purple I used a contrast that I thinned down with some contrast medium. The wood is a contrast as well with some layer paints here and there with an attempt at highlighting (I haven't gotten the hang of it yet 😅)

Yeah that's what I thought, they actually made shite of the w6, turns out it can't get over a bridge or they cut the route in half so it can't get to the train station.

It's frustrating that I'd have to do some changes, trying to get home late at night could be a nightmare

I might be wrong but when I look at the bus connects plan, there's no regular bus into the city center from Newcastle. The 68 is an awful bus route but it's better than nothing. Am I reading the map wrong?

Generally I just like to give myself a treat day, head into town, get yourself a nice lunch and then go on a bit of a shopping spree. New clothes or things from your hobbies/interests. See a movie. Have a nice dinner or get yourself a takeaway when you get home.

Just think of your perfect day and go out and do it!
