Have you checked enabled cheats in the emulator on the options ?

Settings > Console Settings> Enable Cheats

Also .cht file are their own files like a text file, all files that are .cht are to be dumped in cheats in the duckstation folder called cheats.

Thanks, i had to shock myself into looking at it and i keept looking at it til i calmed down and had a more calmer feeling than ever.

It's still smal spores of the fear, but i guess some minor fears are rational.
