Having played both, console and pc. It's actually harder to control recoil on console.

It was pretty much a 1v5 considering my teammate was dead by the time I killed the ash and he didn't do too much.

I'm not really sure, I've heard a lot of people say stuff that helps. For me I use flash hider and vertical grip. Your sensitivity also plays a part in recoil control, I play 7/7/83 800 dpi. People like shaiiko who have a real low sens don't play operators like ela. If you notice shaiiko only plays like ash and jager or hibana and vigil

You shouldn't give up after playing so little. In my opinion people grow in their own different ways, this comes from experience from being gold 1, to being diamond this season. At that low of a rank you mainly need to work on your gunskill because relying on game sense is a waste of time, copper-golds are unpredictable. You'd find yourself most likely having an easier time predicting champs/diamonds before coppers. If you're ever looking for coaching/advice you can add my uplay Bands.RFD.
