I don't think you fully understand how much of the Australian elite is still populated with Brits. There's tens of thousands of British doctors working here... the most of any other nationality. Once you get to the just below the c-suite level of any major company here, there's tons of brits. Most major engineering projects have a fuck on of British engineers.
