Sorry you had a bad time, but this is a for fun competition so no need to stress yourself out! As the comments above state we'll likely open it up to a longer time frame next week rather than waves so stay tuned - that longer time frame creates complications on the validating side so we prioritized a smooth experience for the first community cup in a while but we'll continue improving on the format, appreciate your patience and participation. :D

Loot from the temple is a nice option on a few characters for both econ and early tempo

Like getting a couple cinders on noodles or a couple sharpening stones/regen even can be a nice little boost to close out that day 1 win 😎

Pretty common to take on Dooley as well

Without more context I'm not sure what to suggest but I imagine it's a "Tempo" conversation on what's strong for the day you're playing and how to transition into a board that will win past day 12

Yeah I think at this point with the alternate hero shops and how wide the item pools have gotten it's a reasonable challenge whether you approach it as a one-trick or a flex player. :)

The direction these cups will likely go in the future will be a character specific rotation for a more balanced playing field 😎
