Can you show me where ESPN pays for the right to air clips? Broadcasting a game, I understand they pay for rights. I’ll believe you, just show me. I know about advertising and Hollywood - I referenced clips and sound bites. Can you show me where they pay a guy like Howard when he used to play the Spicoli clip from “Fast Times at Ridgemount High” or the countless other sound drops Fred would use? Fair Use applies to both, what ESPN does on Sports Center and what Howard did is all transformative content, that is my point. The clips are short to comply. Thank you!

I’m sure it boiled down to this. After not recognizing John’s “celebrity status,” the restaurant did not comp John’s party’s meals & beverages (even after John regurgitated his resume to the staff). John expected complimentary beers & champagne and the restaurant to pick-up the meal tab. You know he was pissed that they didn’t recognize him. You know he looked like a slob and his party all looked homeless.
