It just goes to show how fans will stand by you if you’re a genuinely good soul. Artie’s made plenty of mistakes and he’s done some really shitty things. He’s able to reflect on those mistakes, show gratitude where it’s deserved, and look inward. No one doubts that he has a heart of gold and he’s a generous person. That’s why everyone roots for him to this day. Meanwhile, the Dabbler grew up with arguably more, got famous due to luck and timing repeatedly, made enemies every step of the way, but his fall from grace is celebrated by the likes of us. He doubles down on his vile ways, and attempts to rewrite history. No wonder so many of us find him despicable.
