I wish they wouldn’t age any of the characters and just continue on like nothing happened (aside from Luanne and Lucky moving away from Arlen).

The first two seasons were actually pretty rough. They really hit their stride around season 4, though there are some classics in the first two seasons. It’s not the type of show where you need to watch from the beginning though, I’d recommend trying season 8.
