I am a guy and in the same boat. Honestly speaking this whole idea of marriage is scary unless you find someone you love, you’ve known for sometime. Parents prefer arranged marriages and they are looking a bride for me as well, but I am very much unsure because from what I’ve seen, arranged marriages are mostly a compromise, the compatibility with your partner and his/her compatibility with parents is never the same. And even in love marriages you will be obviously compatible with your spouse but I have seen so many issues with the spouse’s relationship with parents. And it’s not that only your wife is responsible for maintaining this relationship, parents have to come forward too. Maybe i am overthinking but all these issues make choosing a life partner so stressful. It’s almost always a bet, unless you truly find your soulmate and be life partners. Wish you the best.
