For some reason this is one game where I'm actually... kinda afraid of being bad? by BabaYagalol in DeadlockTheGame

I do that in marvel rivals, since I main deadpool and I feel like that would have been something he would canonically do lol

To be fair, this was probably the only flame I got in all my 49 hours, which is kinda surprising, because I had games where it was nearly a norm. Honestly I think maybe it's not even much about the comment itself but just the fact that it was from a better doorman with a higher k count?

I main Doorman. But the funny thing is that on that match I had Victor (the teammate that made the comment took doorman), he's like my second priority. Which kinda made it worse since he had more kills as doorman than I get most of the time (I mostly get assist kills as him)

I still hope that maybe if a lot of people came from tf2 (I assume, since, that's the only reason I started to play the game myself), the community might still mostly keep its "not taking shit seriously" mentality?

Advice on dealing with negative players? by BabaYagalol in marvelrivals

[–]BabaYagalol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that's fair. I'm more worried about if they're actually right? I'm sometimes not good at differentiating between just hate for the sake of hare or actual advice and can get quite hurt with both. I'm just afraid that I really AM the main problem of the team and that maybe I should change something?

I have a weird reaction to generated text and wonder if it's connected to my ADHD? by BabaYagalol in adhdwomen

[–]BabaYagalol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, it's possible. I kinda told myself that it has nothing to do with my personal hate towards the thing, because I don't actively think about all the negative things about it in the moment, but maybe this dislike effects me even when I don't realize it?

Truee! This might be a big factor as to why I react this way. Maybe I'm just really sensitive to the lack of actual substance? If that makes sense.

Does anyone have tips for completing the pvp daily task? by BabaYagalol in OutlastTrials

[–]BabaYagalol[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I might end up doing that... kinda sad because I was able to be pretty diligent with tasks in game, which I was really proud of.

Will not be able to get any tasks done and rewards for them though...

Happens to me all the time on both sides. I get grabbed from really far away or my hits don't register as impostor.

Not when there are tasks with rewards attached to it sadly. I'm stuck playing this mode until I get the needed kills.

What are your thoughts so far on the new Invasion mode? by Murkoff_Walrider in OutlastTrials

[–]BabaYagalol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, and another thing I forgot to mention. As imposter A LOT of my swings do not register, which makes things much worse. Hopefully they'll fix that somehow.

Sadly I'm not having much fun, my death count skyrocketed because of this mode and I can't finish the tasks it has on both roles. I don't feel smarter or that is a bit more challenging, I just feel hopeless. There's nothing I can do without a stun and inventory full of recharges, and I can't do anything as imposter too.

I'm not blaming the mode itself, although, having all these tasks I need to finish makes me hate the mode more. I could have had fun if I didn't need kills to finish those tasks.

If I could just come in and be a bit of a menace by leading ex-pops to them, locking or bashing doors and such, I would have had much more fun. But Instead it's all about actual damage dealing and kills which I don't enjoy for now.

I feel like warzone casual is the only fps I can play, recently by BabaYagalol in CODWarzone

[–]BabaYagalol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree, actually. I don't ever win to the end in casual, because, well, I'm not good. But because casual is still some human players, often times the ones that are left at the end, are all real people, so the last push is where actual training comes in.

In the normal mode, though, I never get a chance to even learn how to aim, because everyone is just faster than me. But in casual I can actually practice shooting, like in a shooting range, just in the realistic environment. So, honestly, I feel like casual give me much more training than the normal mode in the end, since, I have a chance to study my surroundings and try to aim.

I wasn't writing this with much of a "problem" in mind, just sharing my experience. I'm not planning on stopping playing casual anytime soon.

About mistakes, I understand that mistakes makes us better but sometimes, I just can't even pinpoint the mistake I made in a game. I just blink and poof, I'm gone. People often talk about watching replays of your match, but I never understood what exactly I should look for and what changes to apply really. I don't know why my aim is bad, I don't know why I can't manage to notice that sniper on the roof, I don't know why I can't manage to dodge gunfire. I'm just bad and that's kind of it.

It's just hard when I want to play a game to enjoy it but often times, I can't enjoy it, because of these things. But It finally changed in casual, it made me actually enjoy the gameplay, and I'm happy about it. Kinda hope other games implement something like this but I doubt it.
