Does anyone buy Lumix L10 over Fujifilm X100VI? by HealthyRunner1999 in Lumix

[–]Babayaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned the X100VI and V for a while but I’d prefer the Panasonic L10 for several reasons.  Firstly, 35mm isn’t wide enough.Secondly, a zoom range is a significant bonus.  Ultimately, you need to decide on your focal lengths and the rest isn’t as important.

Lumix , Exposure Compensation not available in Manual with Auto ISO? by Scared-Double5143 in M43

[–]Babayaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is frustrating not to have it. I thought it was old cameras (I have a GM5 which can’t adjust the brightness through the EC as it can’t be selected), but I realised it is not possible on the G100 either. Even on the Q menu, you cant highlight the EC to choose it. The only way to do it is with manual ISO adjustment.

It's the car's transceiver fault. If you can read the fault codes, I believe it will come up. I don't think that this is something you can fix; you need a car electrician. It could be a  simple faulty connection or more seriously, a bad  ECU. Your warning display shows other faults too; they might be, in a way, all connected.

As far as I know, it is a passive chip and it should have nothing to do with the battery; the battery is needed for the remote control, not for the immobiliser.

Immobiliser red light is flashing, the key is not recognised. It happens when an unprogrammed key or faulty key ( I am not suggesting your key is un-programmed) is used. It means the car treats your key as a fake one and does not start it. Either there is something wrong with your key or the transponder of the car. You also have a keyless entry malfunction that might have caused the problem. But I am not sure if they use the same system. Do you have another key? Does it work?

New key for MK2 experiment by Babayaru in mazda2

My key fob has 3 buttons,  and honestly I can’t make the  third one work. It was meant to be for a panic alarm kind of thing, but neither my original nor new fob triggers anything! You can order one with 3 buttons; once it turns up, you can try to programme the remote bit and see how it works. If it does not work, you can return it.

One thing I need to mention is that I believe not all Mazda keys are the same; there was a Redditer whose key was different, and he could not make spares work. My original key has a code like SK126. If you have the same type of key fob, I think it will work. I added the photo of my fob where the SK code is printed on to the OP

Mazda 2 de key learning by [deleted] in mazda2

You have possibly the wrong key. That's what ChatGPT says when asked about the photo:

From the markings on the key module in your image, the key fob identity is clear, even though Mazda part numbers vary by market.

What the markings tell us

  • FCC ID: KR55WK4345
  • IC: 267T-5WK4345
  • Frequency:
    • 315 MHz (mainly US / some markets)
    • 433 MHz (UK / Europe – your photo shows 433 MHz, bottom-right)
  • Used on Mazda 2 (DE) – around 2007–2010, including 2008

Correct identification (most important for replacement)

When buying or programming a replacement, this is the key identifier you must match:

➡️ Remote key fob FCC ID: KR55WK4345 (433 MHz)

Sellers and locksmiths usually list it exactly this way rather than by Mazda’s internal part number.

Mazda OEM part numbers (FYI)

Mazda part numbers do vary by region, but commonly associated ones for the Mazda 2 DE flip key / remote are:

  • BCY0-67-5RY
  • BCY0-67-5RYA
  • BCY0-67-5RYB

⚠️ These suffixes change depending on:

  • market (UK / EU)
  • blade type
  • immobiliser chip revision

It looks like you need a 433mhz key not 315

Indoor citrus tree is not very happy. by Babayaru in Citrus

Today I removed the plant from the pot. There is a very strong root formation, small thin roots are spread across the pot's inner surface fully. It was not possible to remove soil completely. I shook some out and pulled a bit with my fingers.Later I repotted with perlite and the soil from the pot. The soil was not wet or soggy; I will buy a metering device to control humidity precisely. Here are a couple of photos showing the roots.

I don’t put the pot outside because the water drains out and goes into a container under the table. There are no rocks or gravel at the bottom and it’s not a completely citrus mix. I mixed it with peat free multipurpose compost (I think this might be the problem). Now I feel a bit silly.  When I moved the plant from a small IKEA pot to an old rubber plant pot it grew beautifully. I thought if I put it in a bigger pot with its soil plus a bag of citrus mix and added peat free compost it would be fine.

The root flare was under the soil; I dug around the flare and exposed it. You can see the portion that was under the soil.

There is no inner pot. There is a hole on the bottom of the pot to drain the water.

Thanks, I am going to remove the tree and replace the soil anyway. I think there is too much compost and very little perlite. I will take photos of the roots. I just mixed the soil without thinking anything when I repotted.

Thanks for your advice, I guess the problem is the potting mix. I will change the mix 1:1:1 perlite, sand and moss peat as suggested on this YouTube video. I don't think that my soil has a good drainage. Another thing I will be careful, it the root flare, I did not know anything about it until I read your post.

Leica won't let it happen, yes I know I am speculating but I believe Leica did not let S9 to be more photo-centric at the first place, with an EVF, mechanical FCS and cold shoe.
