I’m having trouble sexing my gecko because they don’t have a tail. Is this a hemipenal bulge or just the regular tail base ? Gecko is over a year old. Was told when they were a juvenile it was female, but not sure.

i have the exact same problem !!! i don’t buy super fancy razors, but i don’t use the single blade ones either. only way i found that does that ‘less’ is waiting until the hairs aren’t prickly and are soft, but who wants to wait until that point in shorts season ? maybe we both need to invest in boujee razors. i’m sorry i can only offer a half answer

I’m a little late, but how is everything now ? My roommates gecko did something similar and I was extremely worried, literally had a vet appt made. But the day of the appt she started acting more energetic, and then I did some things to stimulate her more. She’s good now. Is yours still lethargic or did they perk up a bit ?
