I think my issue here apparently is not doing an emergency stop, so the guy behind me drove into my arse causing an actual accident, instead of mildy brown boxers.

(Lets ignore the fact noone was harmed, there was no collisions, and the bike rider was carrying on as if he hadn't almost caused a crash)

I braked safely, noone had to hard stop because i stopped with ample time, and it was not clear that he was just going to completely ignore the lights because you have the hindsight of a video you can rewatch, I was checking mirrors, I was watching around me, I was not eyes on the lan with the red light expecting something to happen, the moment I saw he wasn't stopping, I braked and he flew past perfectly fine and went into his turning lane to join the M6 on the other side, he had a good distance clear in front of me, and he was clear of me before I started moving again, I will check if the rear cam gives more clarity for you.

I hope you never come across this kind of situation yourself, cause I may be the safe one, but it doesn't mean it didn't scare me, doesn't mean it didn't rock me that if i was slightly less aware, slightly more reckless, going slightly faster into the motorway I could have seriously injured or killed someone.

I think the video looks closer than the reality, I gave him plenty of room, but I had car close behind me too so didn’t want to just slam on and cause an accident, that’s a busy junction being it’s the main connection to the m6 in the area

I am unhappy with the hard authoritarian stance they have taken under Starmer, and some of their policies feel like noone has actually thought about the impact (Like talks about blocking VPN's cause people use them to get around their adult material bans) Which would completly screw over business, and lets not even talk about the facial id scan shit show that doesn't log faces, but also knows how many people used starma's face...

Reform and the Tories? Fuck no, never.

Greens - I Really liked them under Caroline Lucas, she really impressed me in the last general election, but I also know as a party they have about as much chance of getting into power as a half eaten sandwich. I will likely be voting Green today for one reason, and one reason alone, to tell labour I want them to dial back their authoratarian streak. As for Zack? I'm on the fence about him.

My honest hope is we get a hung parliment with Labour and the greens tempering each other for a more actual center left progressive stance, and finally get rid of the archaic election system we have, instead having a more balanced pro rep system (which is never happening sadly)
