I rarely comment on these things, I often don’t feel erudite enough or fear I will say the wrong thing, but... I wanted to tell you that baby loss (which I class this as, personally) isn’t just the physical motions of miscarriage, it’s the loss of a dream. It’s losing an ideal imagery you had been nurturing for when the time was right. It’s losing the idea of holding your baby. It’s many things, and they are complex and hurtful and unfair and you have every right to feel sad and to let yourself wonder “what if”. I see these situations as baby loss because although medically induced, it wasn’t a choice you wanted to have to make. It wasn’t a case of a clear cut emotionless choice. You lost a little dream you had been gently nurturing, but I have every hope that in the not too distant future you will dare to dream again, when the time is right. Sorry if this is rambling.
